Together

Together

Acrylic color on canvas, 200*100 cm, 04/2024

Together was created specifically for this space and its two workstations. Its format and colour palette were carefully developed in response to the client’s wishes and the architecture of the workspace. The intention was not simply to embellish an empty wall, but to shape the atmosphere of the room: stimulating rather than calming, focused without rigidity, vibrant without becoming chaotic.

Together

The work connects, creating a shared centre from different paths and perspectives. Colour, rhythm and movement are deliberately used to stimulate and focus – encouraging flow, exchange and the pursuit of common goals.

The movement within the painting continues into the room itself. The work connects the two desks, spanning both workstations as a shared visual echo chamber. Two separate places of work become a single spatial composition – two positions that retain their individuality while remaining connected. This is also at the heart of the title, Together: different paths and approaches can become part of a shared flow towards a common goal.

Daylight also plays its part. The painting’s proximity to the large window allows its surface and colours to respond continually to changing light. Reflections travel across the work; certain colours come forward while others recede. This gives Together a quality that can only be suggested in a photograph: it remains alive, continually revealing new facets.

The painting, then, does more than decorate the workspace. It gives the space its theme: vivid, accentuated colours; everything in motion; focus within apparent chaos; currents that are directed yet remain free. Everything finds its place and becomes part of a complex, richly layered flow. This is precisely where the energy of Together lies: it keeps the room working – even when the screens go dark.
