I wanted to create something that involves the audience more actively, something that offers interaction beyond the „mere“ perception of images. I liked the idea that art is created only by interacting with an object, that everyone contributes in the creation of art, indeed provides the artistic achievement him- / herself. Thus, everyone can poof that he/she is an artist indeed. Plus, it’s really fun to play around with it.
Ich wollte hier etwas schaffen, dass das Publikum aktiver einbezieht als das bloße Ansehen von Bildern, etwas das interaktiver ist. Mir gefiel die Idee, dass Kunst erst in der Auseinandersetzung mit einem Objekt entsteht, dass jeder einen Beitrag in der Entstehung der Kunst leistet, ja die künstlerische Leistung selbst erbringt. Mal ganz abgesehen davon, dass sich jeder somit zu Recht als Künstler verstehen kann, macht es richtig Spaß damit herumzuspielen.
